Dazzling Success Abroad
26 May 2012 Somon Emomali Rahmon and Isrofil Ismoilov generated the Kalima Electronic Dictionary in four languages including Tajik, Russian, English and Turkish. The innovative feature of the project was the integration of Tajik language into the dictionary's database. The project was properly evaluated by the international jury and was afterward announced as the winning project among 189 final projects. According to the INFOMATRIX organization commitee, 1,200 projects were initially submitted by the participants from 39 countries.
Final projects were placed under five categories including Programming, Computer Art, Hardware Control, Short Film and Robotics.
In addition to the 'golden' accomplishment, two students of Dushanbe International School Primary Section Selman Erkaya and Sherali Abdulloev won Silver medals under the Computer Art category. It is worth mentioning that it was the first ever time the sudents of Primary Section participated in the competition.
Erkaya and Abdulloev designed a short animation movie named 'School Rules'.
